The Book of Bada'i Al-Sanayi 'in Arranging Shari’as written by the Hanafi jurist Abu Bakr al-Kasani (died 1191)

is a summary of the principles and judicial practices established by the eighth century jurist al-Nu`man bin Thabit, known as Abu Hanifa, and he is a broader founder Doctrines of jurisprudence spread. Al-Kasani is considered one of a number of medieval jurists who were influenced by Abu Hanifa and his first followers. The work deals with the basic principles of Islam and the obligations imposed on Muslims. The writer analyzed the topics from several aspects, including the historical, textual, circumstantial and procedural aspects. In the section on Purity before Prayer in the absence of clean water running (as in the case of tayammum) for example, Al-Kasani addresses the principles mentioned in the Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, consensus, and the methods of performing tayammum. The last part of the book deals with the literature of the judge and includes procedures for breaking the neck and borders related to a variety of crimes, in addition to jihad, testimony and evidence. Al-Kasani, whom his contemporaries called "the king of hadith scholars", was one of the students of Muhammad al-Samarqandi who married al-Kasani to his daughter Fatima. It was said that Al-Kasani's dowry was for this wife, which he wrote for this occasion and Fatima's father accepted it gladly, preferring it to dowries from richer sermons even if they were less knowledgeable and pious. Fatima herself was a prominent Hanafi judge and jurist who helped her husband in his fatwas. Al-Kasani died in Aleppo, Syria, and was buried with Fatima bint Muhammad al-Samarqandi. Muhammad Amin al-Khanji, who funded the publication with others, published this book in seven volumes in 1909-1910 in Cairo.
