"The statement" is a comprehensive daily newspaper established in 1980 by a decree issued by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, as Al Bayan replaced the weekly newspaper "Dubai News"
The first issue of Al Bayan was issued on May 10, 1980, becoming the fifth newspaper published in the country and the first Arab newspaper to devote two pages, then three and four. For money and business, it is the only Arab newspaper that prioritized economic affairs, as it presented it in the tab on local affairs.
In 2012, the statement managed to achieve the first place "Arab" on the list of the most Arab newspapers present on social media networks, which It is published by Forbes Middle East.
